Fundraising for Zambia
While fundraising for Saavan’s Trust is always ongoing, we thought it was only right to give a little shout out to some of our supporters who are taking on several 5K and 12K races to raise money for our latest project – the build of a girl’s school in Zambia.
First up Fran Bayliss, her husband Chris and Lianne Cooper, along with anyone they can convince to join them, are taking part in a 12K run through muddy Essex on May 9th. There will be over 70 obstacles, a lot of running and way too much mud!
Sam Carrington will then be led by his two children to complete a 5K event on 5th September 5th. He completed the run back in 2019 and his son Max did the junior version when he was just 12. Max has been begging to do it again and Sam, his daughter Polly, now also 12, and his wife Emma will be taking on the challenge for Saavan’s Trust. Always a glutton for punishment in the name of Saavan’s Trust, Fran will be joining them too.
So, we ask anyone who can, to help them fundraise and sponsor them for the events.
